It wasn't like dying of old age.  Many people were killed, which is never a good thing.  How would you like it if one of the people you love the most died in it?  I am sure you would think differently about it.

Well then why not just get over the Holocaust and the World wars too right?

I mean.. if people do die every day then wars and Holocausts are no big deals either right?

oy.

But I must agree that innocent people die everyday and nobody makes a big deal out of it.

There's so many people dying in Africa and South America because of things like child soldiers and everyday holocausts that we don't hear about yet nobody does anything.

Couldn't have said it better.

i am right here next to seifer and i thought this topic would be killed already but i feel the same way you do on the world war thing
it happened tell the kids in schools about it just dont overdo it
and the thing about 9/11 is true
when we were hit on july7th it was on our news and we had our country dispupted for a while but we looked at the situation, and got over it
unlike america who expected a worldwide convulsion when they got attacked

and dont even think about the "well you never got attacked by planes thing"
theres a reason for that
weve caught every single one that was gonna try
so thats why theres been no plane bombing here

but in all honesty giving this as much time as it is given after 7 years is stupid
remembering the world wars isnt
thousands of lives were lost there
10s of millions were lost in the wars

Those arent terrorist attacks, its their own people doing it.

Terrorism (n): the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion

I realize that, but the Columbine incident that happened here... it doesnt get national recognition every year, because it happened here.

what do you think stoners are celebrating on 4./20

dont forget hitler's birthday

Its not so much as we were attacked by terrorists. Its the magnitude of the attack.

I get that other places have be victims of terrorists.
And I don't think it any less then what happened here.

But can you honestly say, that loosing your one uncle to a stabbing was any more important then people loosing entire families for something they didn't do?

Yes, and one day, some might slip through. One day, something might happen over there like it did here.

And what will your people do?

Laugh and rejoyce? I think not.

They will mourn, and weep over lost ones. And the attack. And will turn to other countries for sympathy as well.

And what will you do?
Will you be happy that it happend? Will you just 'over look' the sitution? I think not.
Think before you speak, accidents happen, things slip through the cracks.

It may not be terriosts, hell it might be a sucide bomber walking into a building and blowing it up along with the people inside.

 Who knows.

But let one thing be known, I wish not, anything upon another country, for I know how it feels to sit there, looking and waiting for news.

The way you handle things isn't how everyone else handles them. Some people can't get over death so simply.
