Okay, when I got my first work permit, and when I had all of the necessary signatures, I took it to the courthouse to get it signed or whatever.

Okay, I've been wondering if I needed to get another copy, would it there because that's where they faxed it off to be filed in the big filing case in the sky.

I called my state's labor helpline, and the woman was rude to me! I said, "If I went to the courthouse where I took my work permit, will they have a copy?" And she cut me off and was all, "No, no, it was never at the courthouse.  You have to go online, no, it was never there - how old are you?"

What the fuck?  Then where the hell did I take my work permit the first time?

Fuck that bitch

She didn't sound too rude to me.

Ask somebody that knows what they're talking about and is able to explain the situation thoroughly, and, most likely, incredibly slowly. Or, uh, maybe ask your employer?

This is what happened.

I have an interview on Thursday.  The person who is interviewing me told me that I have to bring a work permit.

What I'm trying to figure out is that will my county's courthouse, where I got the thing made official, will they have a copy for me to get. That's all I wanted to know, but instead, she treated me like a dumbass.
