Go to hell. This is a support site, not a "I'm so cool, let me diss everyone who is going through a hard time" site.

you are making some assumptions here that arent true

I'm the one making assumptions? What about this, dickhead.
"you're all retarded" That's not an assumption to you? If not that, it's plain stupidity.

When you get that lump in your throat and your eyes are tearing up... it's a failure to bottle up emotions. It isn't part of the act of bottling up emotions.

I'm not sure whether the experience was good or bad for you so haven't got much else to say.. but it's probably not helpful for you to think that forcing yourself not to cry or lose it is the same as successfully bottling up emotions. Both sides has its merits.

bottling up emotions is a misnomer unless simply expressing them makes them go away. the idea that not expressing your emotions as they occur will lead to some sort of dramatic outburst is really, well i don't think it works like that

What you said isn't a fact, it's an opinion. So it can't be true or false.

Whatever, I'm done arguing. Think what you want.
