Now let me address a few things: In the entire history of LW no post such has this has in any way whatsoever made a dent in the minds of the general population of LW. I know, you want to distinguish yourself from these "idiots" and try to be an elitist here out of all these people. Don't worry though, I too used to do things like this. Looking back, I'm surprised I didn't annoy myself! People who cut or pretend to cut for attention will still continue to post those lame topics, along with all the preggerz, and attention seeking ugly people. The only thing that will make things easier for you is to change YOUR attitude. I did, and so have all the others who no longer take the time to get so inflamed by these topics. So, either change the way these people affect you, or maybe it's time to use that handy little "close my account" option in your account page. These posts will always exist, people like you are still annoying, and fuck it's late why the hell am I bothering typing this up (well I have typed too much to stop now)? Bottom line, the world will continue to spin. Now if you choose not to spin with in then GTFO. KTHXBI

Yes you are acting like a heartless bitch with the cutting thing, cutting is an addiction, yes some people do it for attention, but if they did they wouldn't be on here posting about it, they would be off telling someone they see a lot more. People go on here because no one knows them, they feel a lot safer telling people these things, so don't make it any worse.

Oh, I hear ya. Trust me, I do. I'm not saying I have issues with supporting people with legitimate problems. It's those who post RIDICULOUS problems that get on my nerves. I appreciate your honesty and input though. Opened my mind a bit.
