Physical therapy sucks.

Sure, some of the stuff they do feels great while they're doing it.
Stim, ultrasound, massaging the muscles...feels good.
But then they make you do exercises that kill. And now I'm just one big ball of hurt.

Is it going to hurt the entire time I'm doing physical therapy, for those who have done it before? It's for my back.

You'll get used to it. I had to go to pt for my ACL and because I broke my ankle and did something to my shoulder. It's not that bad, though.

thats harsh. but theyre just trying to get ur body back to the way it was (if u had surgery). its going to hurt for a while but it will feel good soon. take some motrin or tylinol and a hot shower. relax as much as u can. and keep going! it gets easier.

I slipped off of a curb while jogging several years ago and it required back surgery.  The place they sent me for therapy also offered pilates as part of the rehabilitation.  They eased me into it over a period of about 6 weeks and now if I go more than a couple of days without it I feel achy.

Good luck...you are doing the right thing.
