So my friends grandfather has a neat old 1950 Packard Patrician but it needs a lot of work.  like a new engine, paint jobs excetra.  I was wondering if you think that it would be good enough to buy and fix.

and yes, to an extent it's good enough to buy and fix, but engine parts are extremely hard to come by for those older cars, also paint is expensive when you do it "the right way" which is many coats insisde and outside of the car. . it isn't worth it if you're a teenager
