which is solved by the "normal members should be allowed to reply" solution

exactly. hence my idea of identifying why people reply to eHelp more and apply that as best you can to the serious forum.

Oh, what a catch.

Okay. Here's everything I think, as organized as I can make it. Don't look at my previous replies, it's all here and they will just confuse you.

I'm against the idea of a ticker for The Serious Forum. The way I look at it, it just needs to be trashed anyway. 99% of the threads in there would be acceptable eHelps anyway. It's a nice idea, but it's just not all that neccesary, and creates more confusion and chaos for us. If someone wishes to participate in a conversation with a support leader, they can submit an eHelp and NOT be anonymous. If a poster is anonymous, it means to me that they don't really want communication.

Instead, I suggest we place a little emoticon, possibly just a red exclamation mark or something, next to serious forum topics in the fresh topics. Similar to our explicit sign.

Moderators shouldn't be able to view the anonymous posters.
