So, how many of you know, or have an idea, about what you want to be or do when you grow up?    I want to go into medicine, specifically Orthopedics.  I love that area of anatomy (Skeletal & Muscular systems).  What about you guys?  Anyone else interested in Medicine?

Yeah I'm interested in medicine, but more left afield, like cosmetic surgery :) or just plastic surgery I am not sure.
Either that or a teacher/professor, in math, history or something like that

 My dream job would be to work as a traveling photography/writer for National Geographic.   But as that is highly unlikely my back-up is to just be a photographer for a smaller magazine or newspaper.

I learned it doesn't always matter what you want.  If there aren't enough jobs in that area you won't be getting a job in it.  I know from experience.  

You have to look for something that there are a lot of openings in because most people don't want it and/or don't try in that field.

I have an associates degree in graphic design and haven't been able to get a job in that.  I have some college in photography and had a temporary job in that.  I just got a job that has nothing to do with college, as a cashier.  

So now I know to not look for what I want but what there is more need for, and you can make a living wage at.
