I cant use Wireless in the country, and my family is too cheap to buy a wireless satalite dish.. thing. I hate having a slow computer. I cant watch anything on youtube and websites take 27 minutes to load. I take my laptop in the city and I find 37 wireless connectins, and many are open. I hate this!

Yeah, I'm on dial up too. I hate it but I get to go off to college in a year so it wont be too much longer.

and I wouldn't call your parents cheap for not buying satellite Internet because that shit is pretty expensive and not all that reliable.

Used to have the same problem.

At one point, couldn't get Roadrunner because we didn't have the right type of fiberoptic cables because the last cable company was too cheap to put them in when they replaced it a few years ago. they also thought hardly anyone out here got on the internet... what idiots. But since Time Warner bought them out, it has completely updated the wires and now we're able to get cable internet!! Such a blessing. Considering we have also looked into DSL- way too expensive. It was ridiculous how much they wanted out here for that. Try going from T3 connection to dial-up... it's like jumping from the stone age to tomorrow's best technology there is. Ridiculous.
