As for dieting, all you have to do is decrease your calorie intake. Make sure you are still getting all the nutrition you need though.

Eat less, eat more fruit and vegetables, exercise more. Try to find a type of exercise that you ENJOY doing, as you are more likely to keep doing it, and doing it well, if you enjoy it.
