I swear half of the stuff I see on here is not true. Well that is a given, but when they talk about disorders, diseases, depression... people take it way too far and say that have schizophrenia, OCD, manic depression. Have you got tested by a doctor, by professionals, who say that you have it? I honestly doubt it. I have schizophrenia, my friend has aspergers, my aunt has OCD. They were tested with it, they don't just show some small minimal signs and then suddenly go around saying they have OCD. Organizing your lip gloss a certain way does not mean you have OCD.
Fucking hell

These are serious things people need to live with, don't take them so casually, so lightly.

a lot of people tend to do this, because they like to blame their problems on things like disorders

haha amen.

self diagnosis is futile. especially since half of these drama queens on here want to have something screwed with them because they feel special.

talk to me when your doctor tell you you have been clinically depressed since you were 7. then i'll listen.

till then, shut the hell up.

also californication when you say people take them casually, they really dont.  they just dont know the seriousness of it all.  its not as if they are trying to mock you.  its just because they are very cautious of their mental health and are misinformed when it comes to actual disorders

Um some people might actually be serious when they say they have things like that and do the things they say.

You're just as bad, y'know.

"I have schizophrenia, my friend has aspergers, my aunt has OCD. They were tested with it"

Why does a doctor have to tell you what you have or do not have? If only a doctor can validate these conditions, then they do not exist in any real form. If you aren't autistic until a doctor says you are...

Let the people be what they want to be. Who cares if they are merely associating with a group because of some real or perceived attitudes or actions that they perform? If jenny has to organize her markers by color, size and thickness, then let her be OCD; it does nothing to you.

Oh I'm sure they are. I know a bunch of people on here who I am sure they have these things. I'm just saying a lot of it doesn't sound very... real.

I have been tested since I was 5 years old. My aunt has been on meds since she was a child. The guy with aspergers, it's a form of down syndrom, easy to test for. All of us have been on plans. I'm not sure about my aunt right now, but I know my friend goes in monthly, and takes tests. Not just from your average doctor, he has had to travel to different provinces for them to do tests on him. It is way more valid then organizing your shoes by your closet or talking to yourself one night, and then diagnosing yourself.
