Defined, strictly, they mean the same things: Very attractive. A deeper analysis of the word could be understood as 'hot' being lustfully, sexually attractive; mostly referring to the way someone looks.
Beautiful on the other hand is more pure. While a 'beautiful' face is attractive, it's not always directly correlated as turn on, but as a deeper word for being pretty. Beautiful can also be used to describe someone's personality who is kind, generous, or gentle.
