Um, I'm not too sure. Never tried to.

I know how to get it onto the PPT if you have the video on your computer, but not directly from youtube.

I know that I have seen people put them in before, but I can not remember if it was just a link or the whole thing.  I know that I have seen the link, they just put the link, click it go to the youtube page, etc.  Some people on google are saying that if you download the video file you can put it directly in the slide.  Try googling for more information..

I just opened ppt for the first time today, i really used it more in high school than in college.

Had to deal with this the other day. It didn't cooperate very well, but in the end, it worked. There are some even easier add on's to use as well, but most of them only work in ppt 2007.
