If you need another person to be happy, nobody is going to want to be there to do it.  No guy wants you to completely depend on him, that puts too much pressure on him to be this perfect guy for you.  A guy wants to be a part of your life, but not the whole thing.

I really don't think it can be said better than this.
Try to work on making yourself feel better for the time being until someone comes along. Obsessing over it will only make you feel worse.
