I just happened to be thinking about a certain thing that happened to me once.

I was only like six years old, and I remember one day I got home from school and my mother was bitching and raving at me for leaving the globe on the couch earlier because she sat on it and broke it. I'd been innocently looking at the night before and now I was getting blamed for breaking it!

And I look back on that I think, what a retarded thing to blame your kid for. A GLOBE, of ALL THINGS in the world, is something that's impossible to sit on, especially hard enough so as to break it, unless you're a complete and utter moron...

yup.
Tons of parents do that.
And you are right, they are morons for trying to blame others.

They pay for it when you grow up and put them in a third rate home and spend all their money on a nice house.

It is indirectly your fault for leaving something in a place that it shouldn't have been.  Had you not left it there, it wouldn't have gotten broken.

Doesn't mean it wasn't your fault.  You may have been young but at 6 you should have known that leaving things lying around wasn't acceptable.

My mother was divorced from my dad at the time. You should have seen our aparement, there was stuff lying around EVERYWHERE because my mom didn't give a damn. And there were mice and roaches to liven things up as well.

Still does not mean that you should have left it where people were going to sit and potentially break it.  You left it there=your fault.

Parents are gay

I think parents are the one thing that most people will assume are most certainly not gay.
