So, I'm making a video project for school. I am using Final Cut Pro on my macbook and I have been rendering video files nicely for about a week when my computer tells me I have no more disk space.

Well, I've been saving my project to an external hard drive every time I quit the program. But apparently, I haven't been saving my rendered files and they're just on my macbook. I have no idea how to change it to where rendered files are saved to a different hard drive.

Does anybody know what I should do?

i'm trying to do that now. Once I do that, do I just delete them off of my macbook's hard drive?

can you move the rendered files?

The program likely wouldn't recognize them being rendered and would rerender it.

Go into System Settings (next to the )
and take off the video and audio rendering off your HDD
and set your external for a secondary (where the cursor is)
and then check those two check boxes on that one that are crossed out on the HDD

it should be able to work decently then.
