It's bad enough that I keep running into those obnoxious fake sites set up by "people" who used some magical google money making tool, but now they've gone to such lengths as creating fake NEWS sites:
And yes, this is most definitely fake as no news site consists of a single article with external links to the spam site. It's pathetic that they keep trying to draw people into these scams. seriously, if anyone thinks that they can make 50,000-90,000 a year posting links, a big disappointment is on the way.

Yeah, they've got that in an obnoxious font to read where 97% of readers will never actually notice, while blazoning what looks to be a real news page up to the gullible, and writing it in the style of a news article. They REFERENCE THEIR SPAM SITES for god's sake. It's scary the lengths they'll go to abuse people's naivety.

This scheme is extremely popular right now, the ads are everywhere it seems like. Ready this article http://www.reviewopedia.com/easy-google-profit.htm to see what its really about. They also have the phone numbers you can call to cancel just in case you fell for it already. Pretty useful because the scammers make it really hard to cancel the monthly charges
