restart it, if doesn't work go into sound properties in control panel and look up sound devices and then go and load a song and whatever device is working and seeing bars move select it. if that doesn't work, then you need to reinstall drivers.

that happened t me once. i couldn't fix it for the longest time then one day i restarted my computer and it worked

that happened to my laptop. It got confused and thought my headphones were still plugged in. I just stuck the headphone jack in and pulled it out again and it works now. hope that helps.
