Ok, so I had this malware thing called YOOG installed as my default search engine for firefox and IE.

I was (what I thought) eventually able to get rid of the thing by going to command prompt, typing in REGEDIT and deleting the two (even though there are three files) files that came up after searching for YOOG.

So, YOOG was removed from my computer and I could use the internet just fine.  No more pop-ups, etc.

But, then I also got rid of AVG cuz I didn't really see the point of still having it - I already had Superspywarere remover or whatever it was called.

Anywho, I uninstalled AVG and my computer restarts.  Well, it appears that when my computer rebooted, it restarted to where it was before I first downloaded AVG.

By that, I mean programs that I had deleted on my laptop several days ago, reappeared back on my computer, including of course, YOOG.

Now, whenever I try and delete YOOG the previous way, by going to command prompt, etc, etc., YOOG is not removed from my computer like it once was.

What is worse, is that for some reason, I no longer have access to my internet for my laptop!

I have no idea how to fix this, and I can't re-download AVG cuz I don't have internet access (there was a program of AVG that I found was still on my computer, but it needs internet access to connect online for some reason).

Anyways, if there are any tech gurus, I could really use your help right now.  Thanks!

I would recommend a complete format of your hard drive and reinstallation of your operating system.
