Quite frequently, members have a problem where their Messenger says "-1 messages" or something similar, when really, they do not have messages.

This is a problem that will occur randomly, and last temporarily.  Please do not start a new topic about this error

You can either wait it out until the bug fixes itself, or find a moderator who is online by clicking here and alert them to the problem, so they can try to run a bug fix.
