Just got done with my first year of college, and all my good friends are spread across the country. Not to mention my utter idiocy when it comes to girls. Can't seem to win with them.

That's the one adjustment when going off to college- is adjusting to friends being all over the place. Believe it or not, it does get easier through the years. Have you tried connecting with a couple of them by roadtripping together or meeting once or twice during the summer? If anything, you could get a job and it will help out somewhat.
