Ok, I created a topic last week basically asking for help trying to figure out why flash doesn't work right on my firefox, mainly with MySpace. Well, I came across this error where it lead me to info on why it wasn't allowing me to use flash  which I guess, techically it's java having issues not really flash. *shrugs* I don't really know.

I just know I would like some help with this. If possible.... please? *sad puppy dog face*

Here's the error information it gave me. I'm hoping it will help figure out this problem so I can finally get it working. in the meantime I'm going to go download another browser to see if I'm having the same issue.

Maybe you could try uninstalling your Java, then reinstalling it? I'm not really sure about this kind of stuff, but...

Have you tried simpyl reinstalling it? I know that sounds dumb, but it stopped working in my opera just a few days ago, and I finally gave up trying ot figure it out and just reinstalled flash, then it worked fine.

edit- fuck fuck fuck I hate when I type ot instead of to, I'm too lazy to fix it, though.

I think I did that (I don't remember very well) but I'm about to do that as well, actually.

Thanks though. :)

Ok... here's what I did.

I uninstalled Java (I had 9 & 10 on this computer, so I just removed both) and then downloaded Java from their site. Couldn't install it because apparently my firewall was blocking it- interesting. So I fixed that and was able to reinstall it. And am now testing it.

Still doesn't work though... *sigh*

To put it bluntly- Java is pissing me off so much. I'm pretty sure it's Java because I don't even see the controls for it where I should be able to see them (in the Control Panel on this computer). It pretty much works when it wants and I can't seem to figure out how to control the damn thing. GRRRRRrrrRRRRR!!! /rant
