I know many people believe that two people of different races should not be together but i see it completely different. I truly have feelings for this guy but i don't have feelings for him because of the color of his skin, i have feelings for him because of the type of person he is. Race really isn't important to me although to my parents, friends, and family...its everything. Its really hard sometimes and idk exactly how to tell those people that I have feelings for this amazing guy that's african american. I don't understand the difference between white and black, or white and mexican, or any race compared to any other race...

I just don't know what to do...

Is it wrong of me to have feelings for him as more than a friend just because of his skin?

Why would God put him in my life and allow me to have feelings for him if I wasn't supposed to..?!

I'm so confused and I feel completely alone.

But I know how you feel. My parents don't believe in the interracial thing either. And, honestly, I never  htought I'd be attracted to a black or mixed person. But, I'm dating one now. It's okay. Just let your heart tell you waht to do.

it is not wrong that you like someone of a different race. i am multi-racial and my guys mom used to tell him only to date a Hispanic girl, i am glad that she doesn't feel that way anymore.

haha... more often than not, im attracted to other races *shrug* love isnt something you can just choose! Its obviously a... dividing line. There is no such thing as RACE. Do want you feel is right, and dont be discouraged by your parents. Most adults grew up in a time race was everything.. but its the 21st century, and race should mean nothing by now.
