You know, when I leave my shit 'lying around' (like my watch, ring and armband), it's not because I'm being stupid. It's because I'M DOING SOMETHING THAT MEANS I CAN'T WEAR IT. LIKE CHANGING THE FISH TANK WATER.

I don't appreciate you calling me an idiot because I didn't put it in my pocket. Changing tank water is messy, it's not even my watch, and I like my silver untarnished.

I also don't appreciate your implication that I don't remember where I put something. I've only been in 4 rooms since I came home: the living room, kitchen, bathroom and my room. I only ever put my watches and such in one or two places in each room, and I've checked those places.

If I find it, I'll find it. I asked you because you're the only person who ever even bothers tidying my stuff. I didn't ask you so you could go check the places I've already checked, some places I didn't even go to (like the backyard), and then have you imply my stupidity on top of that.

Kthx.

Yeah. Because they were sick, so I had to turn the filter off. But that made the water all cloudy with suspicious things floating around in it, so I did a water change.

Not that it made much difference or anything

They're a bit stressed, but should still be having their babies.

Ah, fair enough. I hope they're all okay and that you get babies soon. You might save a fortune on fish flakes. :)
Was it the filter or something else? Yikes, I hope you don't have to replace it.

yarr, those good fuh nothin' fish hav' bin nothin' but trouble!

Lulz. I found the ring and watch on the exercise bike, but I never put stuff there so I didn't think to look.

:sigh: I'm a moron.

They have the fishy equivalence of human ringworm. It's a skin infection called ich/white spot. It's bad for them cos it can stress some of the littler ones out and kill them.

I have to replace the filter sponges anyway. The white poly-pad is that gunky dark purple/brown of fish poop and algae

But I have to order them first so it might be another month. I guess they just have to get used to having slightly cloudy water. I'll do another water change (10%) at the end of the week.
