There are also laws about minors viewing pornography, and since you never know who you're sending things to...

In response to some earlier questions: if nudes are requested on livewire and actually transferred elsewhere, we will still take action. If members want to exchange nudes elsewhere, then we won't take action on livewire, unless we find that anyone is using this site to 'groom' people and ask them for nudes elsewhere (seeing as we're a nice handy source of teenagers).

It has come to our attention that many members are unaware of the moderation team's stance on the exchange of nude photographs of members over the site. This has been fully discussed by the moderators and we have decided to make this announcement to clarify our position.

Soliciting or requesting nude photographs on livewire is strictly prohibited. This applies to all members. By providing pornographic photographs of yourself to other users of this site, you are committing a crime in the eyes of the law. We do not tolerate this behaviour.

If you are caught sending or receiving nude photographs of livewire members, you will be formally warned. If you do it again, you will be denied service. There will be no informal warnings and no second chances.

All banned members are eligible for pardon after 4 months (click here for more information) but if you are banned for exchanging nude photographs, it is highly unlikely that you will be allowed to return.

We would like to ask all members to remain vigilant against this activity and to report any such dealings to the moderators. Thank you.
