It's only my business because he calls me high, I've gotten in trouble cause he'll call my house when hes high and my mom will pick up.  He called me this passed friday asking me if i could lend him money or get someone to buy weed from him.  He's involving me.  He started going off on me and wanted his gf to fight me.  He's the kind of person who will do anything to get attention.  I'm scared for my well being.  I don't wanna rat him out but how else is he gonna stop.  I have talked to him and he says he doesn't care if he has no friends and if his parents kick him out he's messed up and is bringing it into my life.  I have tried everything I can think of and he just tells me im stupid...we used to be best friends and then we went out for 2.5 months...i ended it and we were best friends again.  We used to do eveything together and we saw eachother almost everyday, we told eachother everything and yes he has always smoked and ive smoked with him a few times but only occasionally, he let's it consume his life and then tries to bring it into mine.  I am not jealous at all of his new girlfriend but I feel like hes just using me as a replacement for when he has no one else to talk to.

If they had a meth lab going on in her parents' basement, sure, snitch. But when the kid finds a girlfriend and starts to spend more time with her than his other friends, and smokes with her and her rents to chill out and have some fun, I say leave him be. Or talk to him about it.

Calling the cops will do the following:
1) create money problems for your 'friend'
2) create legal problems for your 'friend'
3) create animosity between you and your 'friend'
4) create social services problems for your friends girlfriends parents

it will NOT:
1) make your friend realize his "mistakes"
2) make your friend hang out with you more
3) stop your friend from smoking a harmless drug
