Wtf. No, it's not.
Drinking under the age of 21, no matter who you're with, is illegal. And a parent can be charged with providing alcohol to minors...if they provide it, obviously. Kinda left that out the first time.

I dont kno where you live but thats how it is in WV

Just like buying it anywhere, some workers fail to follow the LAW and risk not only there job but there life.

There lucky you didn't drink abunch and drive, killing someone. Then not only are you screwed, there going to be screwed and the place there working at is going to also.

Just alittle food for thought, think before you provide Alcohol to minors(even if your a minor who's providing to another).

if your with your parent, its legal

This.  Except it's supposed to be your parent giving it to you instead of the waiter just going ahead and doing it.  Maybe?  I don't know exactly.

Alcohol laws are controlled by the state not by the federal government there is no law that governs every state even the drinking age of 21.  When the drinking age was changed to 21 it was because if states did not increase it they would loose their federal funding for their roads.  The agreement said nothing about legal age when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  In many states it is perfectly legal for your parents to get you a drink while you are out at a restaurant.  In almost every state it is perfectly legal for you to drink on your property as long as one of your parents are home.  In other states you can even transport alcohol in your vehicle if you are over the age of 18 and it is closed in the trunk.
