To make her promise something I couldn't promise myself? I can't exactly say what, LiveWire won't let me, but basically, I made her swear to never follow me if something ever happened, and the promise wasn't mutual. She wouldn't stop yelling at me because I wouldn't return the promise, partly because I wanted to make sure she would always do her best to take care of herself, no matter what, partly, because honestly? I have no motivation in life, other than her. Nothing matters besides her at this point, and that wasn't changed by her, normal stuff never did much for me, it all seemed so pointless. Was it wrong to make her promise?

Yes. Why subject her to a promise you never intend to make in return?

Because it was for her benefit. She's more important then I am, even if she doesn't realize it.

Importance is a matter of opinion.
Not in this case. So even if it was for her it was still wrong?

Lol, Just because she is more important to you than yourself doesn't mean she actually is, NEVER make anyone promise to do anything that you wont promise to do yourself... As for not being able to say, I seriously doubt that coz i have yet to find anything I want to say yet am not allowed to on here lol As for what you did, Not actually saying is simply leaving people to use their own imaginations, Such as my first assumption: "You killed someone and are now on the run frm the cops" LOL To answer your question, Yes it was unreasonable, You may love her more than anything else in the world but if you do, You must allow for the possibility that you mean as much to her as she means to you... The same reason for her not being able to keep a promise is the same reason you cant make that promise in the first place... You probably pressured her into promising to do something that she doubts she could ever do if it came down to it...
