I feel a strong conection to it. I feel accepted, and loved. I feel close to God and Goddess. I just do.

Sounds completely irrational to me.

well you my think what you wish. I made a simple topic to see what people think, and so I could do more research in certain parts that are needed.

Fashion trend or religion?

 How to tell nowadays.

wiccan has never been a fashion, you are thinning "goth" and that has nothing to do with magick. I know LOTS of witch's that dint were black. and I know MANY non-Ricans that love to where black. Its a style, its not a rule of the religion.

lol, first learn to spell
second, since when are you omniscient
You know lots, yet not all.
And I'm pretty sure it's a fashion trend for TONS of people, so hushhh

It unfortunately seems like a trend for a lot of people. Kinda like bisexuality though, some people are actually serious about it (or maybe not so serious so much as relaxed and calm about it).

I do like that last part of the Rede, too. "An' it harm none, do as thou wilt"?

I agree with SpM's first statement...most teenagers I've met, both online and in person have no idea what Wicca really is. Most think it's the religion that allows you to believe in faeries and unicorns and little elves and magic (or as they'll spell it, "magick" or "majyck" or "maejykch"), but more importantly, most find it to be a way to rebel against Christianity without doing something too scary, like becoming a Satanist. They want to be different, but many are actually afraid of the possible consequences of such a bad religion as Satanism, so they go for Rebellion Lite, and since Wicca is all nice and fluffy and so on, they go with that.

What most don't realize is that Wicca isn't actualyl nice and fluffy...that there are 161 Laws to follow, and that those laws are actually very strict (such as that you're not supposed to tell anyone that you're a Wiccan)...that it's a relatively young religion and has nothing to do with faeries or unicorns or angels or whatever...that it's not "anything I want it to be" but is actually a very specific set of beliefs.

And that's what makes it fun for me, because I can disillusion them ^_^
