Everywhere I go people say I'm quiet or ask if i am all right. Today I meet someone at work for a few minutes and when I speak they say "my name thats the first time I heard you speak". Whats with this? Girls notice it more. I am a guy.

Lol I was even made captain of the football team last year and I was regarded the quietest. But when I speak people listen. Is that a good thing to have? Just starting to get annoying how everyone is saying of quiet.

They might think your being rude or arrogant if you don't talk, but in reality your probably just shy. If you do talk then they notice you are talking and no longer think you don't want to be sociable.
Yes girls notice it more, because you are probably more shy around girls than when you are with guys.
