I support gays, and I'm pro-religion.

Remember, being pro-religion doesn't always mean being a fundamentalist Christian. I think you guys often tend to forget that.

What you really don't seem to get is that it is people like you who make others run as fast as they can, away from religion. Counterproductive, I would say.

Not true draaky, People choose to leave the religion due to their own choice whatever the reason that might be. People like me just state their opinion/facts no more no less; it is not like we are holding a sword on their neck to the person saying do this or you die or a gun on their forehead.

Ohh, no, people like you only oppress others, hell, even sometimes murder people, for their sexuality. You say you merely state your opinion? Then why did prop 8 pass? That isn't merely stating an opinion. That is a monstrous action of oppression. Don't kid yourself.

There are some crazy people who do things you said but they are defintely not my kinds of people.

The prop 8 wasn't a force thing rather was done in a civil way by the vote and remember we live in a democratic country.  When people don't like things they vote to eliminate such but force doesn't work in a free world.

Of course it was. It was about power, control, greed. Propaganda was spread, LIES were spread by the Mormon church, not to mention others who supported it.

REALLY. What the fuck do people care if gays marry? It has absolutely no affect whatsoever on them. So why the motherfucking hell should they care?

Not really it wasn't.  If it was it would being like this "You either submit to our rule or you die by a sword (sine we live in a modern world) or a bullet or even an electric chair"  but that wasn't force so it was done by vote.  In a way more civil no blood shed no bullets no nothing but a peacefull vote.

I wouldn't really think it is about power because religious socially conservative have no influence in media and any other people generally speaking and don't controll the media (cnn, msnbc, fox, bbc, so on and so forth).  If they were gays wouldn't be tolorated in this time and era nothing would have changed whatsoever.  It would have been same as 15 years ago nothing would have improved.

And the poor Mormon church have no influence in any states even themselves they can't practice their polygamist status rather they do it private than public.  If they had any power of influence the first thing they would have done is legalize the polygamy.

REALLY. What the fuck do people care if gays marry? It has absolutely no affect whatsoever on them. So why the motherfucking hell should they care?

Because of the religious moral values and some who tend not to be religious don't want their kids to encounter such.  Also it goes against hundreds perhabs a thousand years of our traditions and values.

BTW Did you had a good Turkey day you and your lovely partner?  You seem kind angry just calm down... breath in and out.

The socially conservative have no invluence in the media??? Are you braindead???? You know the Mormon church had a hand in it. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/15/us/politics/15marriage.html?_r=1&scp=4&sq=mormon&st=cse
Don't play stupid....although, unfortunately I don't think you're playing.

Then keep your damn children locked in a dungeon if you don't want them to encounter things you don't like. YOU DON'T CONTROL THE EARTH. There will ALWAYS be unpleasantness and things you don't agree with occurring. If you don't like it, tough shit. Either lock your kids up, or (best case scenario) don't procreate.

And don't you motherfucking DARE patronize me. God, you disgust me.

Maybe they play a little role in it just as many other religions supported the prop8 but not as a big influence as that article put it.  I mean come on some bunch of other Christian sect don't even consider Mormons as "part of Christianity" so how could they have such influence when people have such views towards them?  Even though I think Mormons is a proper Christian sect compare to others.  I heard many other stories as well.  For example some people blamed blacks for the prop8 and some blaming the poor Mormons.  I wonder which side of the story is true?

Now that isn't a nice thing to do is it?  Oppressing the majority while pleasing some group of minority for a thing that was not even legal and recognize to begin with.  Could you be a little more reasonable enough at least.

And marriage is not always about "procreate" because some people God just didn't bless them to procreate as long as it is between a man and a woman that's it simple.

And don't you motherfucking DARE patronize me. God, you disgust me.

I wasn't really patronizing you I was actually serious and curious about it.  I suspected you were going to react the way you reacted.  I was trying to be less of a so called "douch" (even though I am not just saying) you know never mind.

I don't believe in defining people according to whether or not they find people of their own gender sexually attractive or not.
I think that homosexual activity is wrong though and should not be encouraged by the government (but don't get me wrong, I don't think it should be illegal or anything, that's a bit messed up).

I am actually surprised some of you have the balls to say you are anti-gay and pro religion. I am proud of you guys.

'Pro religion?' What religion? Not every religion is anti-gay, and certainly not every gay person is anti-religion.
