| No. I only want to protect marriage by taking away other people's rights. Not my own. |

I think if everyone is "equal" then everyone should have the same rights.
What "rights" are not the same?

marriage needs to be taken more seriously
Limiting it to a man and a woman is clearly the way to accomplish this. Those homosexuals are far too giddy and irrational to take something like marriage seriously.
thats a bit of a generalization I know statistically homos are more likely to be promiscuous. on average they have 4 times as many sexual partners as heteros
They don't have to marry everyone they fuck.
no but marriage is meant to be about monogomy, people who are sexually promiscuous, shouldnt get married if they cant commit to one. I have no tolerance for adultery, nor should anyone else
yeah someone who is casually promiscuous certainly couldn't ever commit... say, i hear females in new zealand are the most promiscuous than any other female in the world, ban marriage in NZ?????????

Not just a blank ban on divorce, but yes, I would fully support banning of divorce in cases where somebody was just irresponsible and foolish and married before they were ready. I'm tired of our society telling people they don't have to take responsibility for their actions.

Sure would!
You answer as if there are no possible domino effects. 50% divorce rate; those couples suddenly forced to stay married would lead to even more unfaithfulness, more unhappiness, more substance abuse, more psychological needs, more intoxicated driving, more abuse, more murders, etc. To imprison a person through the take away of rights is not always a good thing, even if it is following a religion.
Heaven forbid it lead to people taking more time to make sound, responsible decisions when it comes to getting married.
