Background: 2 High School seniors, dated for 8 months.  Never went further than 2nd base.  Cared about each other very much.  Never any type of arguments or disagreements.

Reason She Dumped Me:
We had a talk about where we stand on sex.  She said she strictly believes sex can only be enjoyed between a married couple.  I said that sex can be enjoyed between 2 mature and responsible adults using discretion.  She freaks out, and says that she feels that she now owes me sex.  I told her that this isn't true, and I would wait for an eternity until she was ready for sex.  Dumps me as a result.  Note, she never freaked out about anything, ever in the 8 months during the relationship until this.

Time: Happened yesterday afterschool.  I moped all day today, and was seen clearly by all as upset and distraught.

Action Up To This Point: A letter was given to her today after school, that told her to think about the decision she has made.  I let her know that I think she acted on a whim, and will probably regret it.  I informed her that I am interested in continuing our freshly ended relationship.

So...anyone wanna help me get the girl back? I'm almost positive she's made a mistake. She reacted to an emotional response caused by her thinking that her virginity is threatened (for what reason I know not, I was nothing but supportive of her beliefs and values).

Tomorrow I plan on being being super happy (even if it's only an act).
