Bloody knuckles
Forced smiles, overdone grins
Keep it coming, that happy vibe
Until tomorrow comes
But tomorrows always coming
And today is always here
And so we manage
And the voice inside your head
Louder, louder, louder
But you don't dare say a word
Critscizm is your friend
The voice will make you better
And stress pumps through your veins
Intertwined with blood and gore
And your thoughts spin endlessly
Like a child on a tire swing
Through your on the edge mind
And emotion overcomes you
close your eyes and hold onto reality
Try to keep yourself alive
Do what you have to do
Take away the pain, and you know it's all alright
And you'll force your way through
Attending a never ending masquerade for your thoughts
But at the end of the day
It all comes down to bloody knuckles.
