I just found out I am pregnant yesterday. It is horrible, I just got on birth control this month... I guess I was one month too soon eh? Well anyways I am a little over 4 weeks along, I am scared, nervous, and I want to just go to sleep... and never wake up.  I just need some advice, from the respectable teen mothers on this site.  

Call me a whore and you will be reported, and anyways try not to be such an asshole right now, I already have the whole world crashing onto my shoulders.

I don't know how to tell my mom.
I want to abort it, but I don't think I could live with myself afterwards.

Help me, please.

Not to sound rude but you really should consider the baby. How could you possibly afford to give it proper care being that young, working full time without even graduating highschool? I don't know your reasons but that alone says a lot about your ability to commit. It's a good thing you said you are at least thinking about an abortion. Perhaps adoption may be something to look into if you really think you won't get over it.

no im sorry if i sounded rude
but I just mean that you dont really have any options, your gonna have to tell your parents evenutally right cuz tehy will notice sooner or later, so really I dont think there is a good way to tell them your pregnant you really have to just come out with it.

I'm not a teen mother but.
I know you are only about 16, I think.
I know I could never live with myself if I had an abortion, I also know I would not be able to  have the child and then give it up.
You have to think about what is best for you right now, and what would be best for the child. It is a hard decision to make but it is one you will have to make. A lot of girls get pregnant when they are young, and have the child and raise it just fine, a lot of girls get pregnant when they are young and have an abortion and go on with life, some regret it. Some have children and give them up for adoption and never look back.  
I have been in this situation before, luckily I miscarried and never had to make the decision.  
If you decide to have this child would you have help from your boyfriend, his family, your family, and friends.  
You are not the only one responsible for brining the child up, maybe your mom will be mad, but she will get over it.  

I hope I helped even a little bit, I know this is shocking news to you, but everything will work out in the end, it always does, you will be able to make it work, no matter what you decide to do.

Are you positive you are pregnant?
If you aren't 100% positive I wouldn't tell anyone until you are.

Do you have friends you are close with that you can trust to help you out with this? If so talk to them and make a personal decision.

Either you'll have an abortion or you'll keep the baby. If you take the easy route of having an abortion you can also avoid telling your mom by going for the medical appointments by yourself. Well actually it isn't the easy route... that was stupid. There probably will be problems emotionally accepting that you had to make such a decision. A counselor could help you work out any unresolved emotions in this case.

If you decide to have the baby you'll just have to talk to your mom from the heart and be genuinely honest and open. Then work hard with the people around you to make it work. There is no need to be overwhelmed (easier said than done I know) -- you just have to accept you are in a difficult situation and make the best decision you possibly can and LIVE with it... don't fight with what is.
