I get razor burn alot too, put in other areas I started using mens razor blades, and always use shaving cream. When I first start shaving I go in the direction that the hair grows, just to get my skin used to the blades, then go against the direction of the hair for a smooth finish. It seems to work for me.

You can use a hair conditioner (the one you use on your own head of hair works). It softens the skin first. I used to have the same problem. Just be sure to wash your legs with body soap afterwards or you will get ingrown hairs (also NO fun!)

Wax?
but that hurts, right?
Temporary pain from waxing vs. razor burned red legs?
true. its not so muchthat it hurts, its more the way it looks. :P
So, either way waxing would be better. BUT....get it done professionally, don't do it yourself...that could end up worse then razor burn.
