 Abraham K Biggs, from Broward County, took an overdose of pills while broadcasting the act on Justin.tv - a live video website. The 19-year-old filmed himself on a webcam in his bedroom and streamed the video online. He had told users of the website that he would be committing suicide and invited them to watch. It has been reported that Biggs had earlier written a suicide note in which he said he hated himself for being a failure and felt bad about having hurt other people. Those watching Biggs take the pills before lying on his bed are thought to have insulted him and egged him on, reportedly thinking that the event was fake and that Biggs had not taken an overdose. It is alleged that viewers then contacted police, who burst into Biggs's room, where they found his body slumped on his bed, and turned off the camera. One report suggested that as many as 1,500 people watched the live suicide. The death was confirmed by the Broward County medical examiner. Mr Biggs was a member of the bodybuilding.com forum under the name CandyJunkie and was known as Feels Like Ecstasy on justin.tv, it was reported. Justin.tv is an open network of thousands of live streaming channels.
