In my school - the only foreign language class is Spanish, and you have to take 2 years of it. French was common before, but I didn't even have a chance to take it!

Many Hispanics are born in a Spanish environment - and never learn English. You can get around in some places around here not knowing any English - and knowing only English will confuse you in many places too.

I speak spanish only when I'm really pissed or when I can't think of the word in english. But not all hispanics speak spanish to everyone.

Many Hispanics, especially Puerto Ricans, yell in Spanish only. It's very insulting when you don't know what they're saying.

It's funny that they use "Gringo" as an insult too

Around here - a lot of the Hispanic population ONLY speaks Spanish.

So not true.
It might be true in florida, but in most other places its not.
There are a lot of hispanic people within my vicinity and all of them speak english.

But, then again, they either come from New York or their original country/island.

They even speak of places, in New York, that only have Spanish speakers.
