I didn't see the picture before (I assume) you took it down, but if you're making scrapbooks for your parents (did I read correctly?) that's really nice.
It sounds like they were a bit hard to look at but don't worry, you can always play around with things til they satisfy you. Either way I'm pretty sure your parents will be happy :P
