Is it hard to become one?  And is it hard being one?

I'd like to look in to it.  If I could become an RA, then I could move up to school towards campus.  This would open up my opportunities to be involved in research and maybe some clubs.  I live too far away at the moment to even consider most things like that...

Either way... do you know if it's typically difficult to become one?  And is it that hard of a job to maintain?

I know a lot of ppl who are RA's and its not hard to maintain but it takes up alot of their time with activites and meetings. There are times when they have meetings till 11pm at night, but they like it, so thats all that counts. At my school if u become an RA we get our room and board for free.

It's not difficult to become one. Just maintain a good GPA and show leadership skills.

My RA is gettting kicked out, though. She spends Wednesday-Sunday at her boyfriends house, so she's never here to enforce anything. Or help, for that matter. People are constantly getting locked out of their rooms, in which she would need to be there ASAP, and she never is.

She's also a bitch.
