I say murder is worse as you don't have the opportunity to recover from death. Also, being dead leaves no room for revenge which I would desire should someone subject me to such a cruel thing.

I've been raped, and I can't relate to that at all. Nor is there any evidence to suggest that most rape victims can.

This is a pretty horrible question. I'd rather be alive than dead and having experienced rape I can assure you that life goes on. I choose life.

I'd consider murder worse than rape for the simple fact that there is no chance of recovery in death, nor is there any hope left for you for your loved ones.

Obviously this doesn't make rape any better and nobody should ever take it that way.  Rape is a very serious matter, but unlike murder, rape is never final.
