I personally believe that the magnitude of this economical crisis will be bigger than anything civilisation has ever expirienced. There are signs of the global economy totally collapsing - I think the 30s depression might have been a piece of cake compared to this. Because the worlds economy has never ever been as global as this before.

All in all I'm extremly worried now because of the latest events (car corporations being at risk for bankruptcy)

i'll admit it worries me a bit when i hear a country has declared bankruptcy (iceland) but it's hard to worry too much when it's not just us, but virutally EVERYONE whose economy is fucked... after all, it's pretty relative in the long run, no?

i am very worried if lay offs and bail outs keep going we are going to have even higher taxes but there wont be enough jobs for everyone and the un employment rate will go up and the economy will just get worse we are currentaly in a resesion next is depresion

I'm not sure about it getting worse than the Great Depression. The thing is, back then they didn't have as many means of dealing with it than they do now.

However, if things get really bad, I'm going to the moon.

dude, its definitely not rock bottom yet. next year will be the worst of it. as a college student with lots of shit to pay for, yeah i'm really worried.

my state has had to cut budgets for public schools like mine, and a LOT of classes have been cut, and i might not be able to carry on with the major that i pick... its a pretty intense situation

Honestly I don't care too much. I figure if the world's going down I'm going with it, worrying wont do anything to prevent it. I think there's a high possibility everything's going to crash soon, but we jsut have to see what happens, I'm not stressing over it.
