I didn't say it was less legit.  Of any of the ones I mentioned, only orange peels is the really not-legit one.  

I'm saying that the negative side effects overwhelm the positive ones sooo much that I hardly see why anyone would bother.  Is it legit in that it will have an effect?  Of course.  So will nutmeg.....but I think almost anyone can agree that that shit is NOT fun to be on.

Just because some people like it doesn't mean that the drug is appealing as a whole.

I'm pretty sure codeine (the only OTC opiate that I know of, well, possibly tramadol, and only in certain states) is only available by prescription in Ohio.  I'm from Columbus and I never saw OTC codeine preparations in a single drug store, and I looked.

Also, the research chemicals that you are probably thinking of have already been banned because they were classified as amphetamines or amphetamine-like drugs.  There was a law passed in the 1980s that treated research chemicals like MDMA was back at the time as illegal, mostly due to the rise in ecstasy use.

robotripping: go buy a bottle of cough syrup that has dxm as its ONLY (this is important, otherwise you could get very sick) active ingredient. drink the whole bottle, one bottle per person is plenty and wait about fourty minutes.

i've only done this once, but i tripped for six hours. it's unreal, you feel totally detached from your body. i would try this before any of the other ways i listed, definitely.

if this is your first time using cough medicine to get high do NOT drink a whole bottle.
But Delsym Cough Medicine is the best kind, and it tastes really good. If you drink about HALF the bottle you will trip balls!! Its really good, you should be with a sober person while you are tripping.
DXM should be the only active ingredient in any cough medicine you use. You can find the Active Ingredients on the back of the box. Dextromethorphan HBR .... 15mg is the normal thing youll see.
