Since it's winter time Rockefeller Center is a must. That has the giant Christmas tree with ice skating.
How long are you going to be there? NYC is SO packed at this time of the year so you really can't do much in one day.
My favorite thing there is Madame Tussauds, the wax museum.

I'm there for only 3 days =( . I might try the ice skating but i cant skate to save my life lol
