Does anyone else have any fun or strange rule sets or such things? Like the other day I found a rule set for using Materia in a game, but forgot to bookmark it.

I've been meaning to get around to starting a thing with my friends. I've got people from my class to agree we should all play D&D, so I'm going to be DM, since even though I have no experience in Tabletop gaming, I know the rules well. We've all sort of agreed our world is going to be a bit absurdist, since we can't take anything too seriously.. like my friend is going to be a cleric of "Sappho, Goddess of Lesbians". We're also probably going to have gods of things like toasters and the like.
The most fun thing about the concept of tabletop gaming is the idea you can sort of wing your own rules, so I don't look much into alternate rulesets. It's more fun to make up your own anyway
