im so scard cause my bestfriend whose about 15 told me a couple nights ago her dads friend dan about 30 something years old raped her when she was drunk and he was drunk, i didnt know what to do cause she told me not to tell anyone but i only told her brother.. am i being a good friend by telling her brother? im so shocked that that even happened. im just sooo scard for her cause she said she wanted to kill herself and lately shes been also cutting her self to i try my best to get her to stop but i just dont know what to do anymore. idk you tell me.

You did the right thing, IF he's planning on helping her/ getting her some help.
Honestly, as much as she may hate you for it, id be tempted to go to her parents and tell them what happened, AND that she's beein self harming/ suicidal. They'll have the power to get her some help.
