How old is your brother first of all? I'm going to assume you are older that him. If not, please let me know. If he is a young child, that was very wrong for you too do. You're the older silbling in this situation and should be setting a good example for your younger siblings. You're the 16 year old and should be the mature one in this situation which is why you shouldn't be doing something a young child would do. I'm not going too lie, it wasn't the best way at all to handle your situation.

It is important too remember that he is your younger brother, okay. I have a younger brother also and he can really annoy me at times and as much as I would like too do what you did, I wouldn't ever do that. He is young. Only a kid and that's what kids too. They like too annoy and irritate their older brother and sisters. I do know its annoying and frustrates you at times but its something you are just going to have too deal with until he grows up. Sucks but that's the reality of this situation.

If you really think it would help, talk too your parents about his behaviour. Tell them that you would like them too do something about him and that he really annoys you when he lies and blames things on you that really don't have anything too do with you.
