Its not like a concentration camp, its however long you have to shower, thats the amount of time you get.

It's been three weeks since I had a decent sleep,
In an empty bed with a restless head,
These thoughts are killing me so...

Hi!  My name is Shaun.  I am 18 and I am in ROTC.  This isn't the actual military, it's a cadet training program that you take during college to become an officer once you graduate.

First of all, it is entirely situationally dependent on when/where/if you can shower.  It depends whice service you go into (Army/Navy/Marines/Airforce) and it depends how you branch (your job in that service, ie Military intelligence)

If you are looking for the best living conditions with the best resources, then I would highly suggest that you research the air force.  The air force is the branch that is more "physical" than "mental" so to speak.  Though all military jobs have a physical aspect to it, Air Force is for those who want to think with their minds and not their bodies.

What other questions do you have?
