Cheerleader tryouts are today, and everyone is telling me that I should be a cheerleader. I don't think that it would be hard for me because I do gymnastics and volleyball.

I just don't know what to do, because I don't want to be considered a stereotypical dumbass cheerleader. And even though I know that I'm not like that, I fear that some of the girl's ways will rub off on me and I will eventually become like some of them without even knowing.

What should I do?

I scanned your pics. You look like a cheerleader. I say do it, you're already aware you dont want to turn out like the stereotypical "dumbas cheerlead" so just....dont.

Hahaha, well you know what?  I think you should go for it.  It would probably be pretty fun.  I don't know, we didn't have many "dumb" cheerleaders.  In fact, most of them took Advanced Placement classes.
So, if you're interested in it, you won't catch stupid from the squad, pretty sure you are safe to give it a go.

You should go for it...I was a cheerleader before I got injured and it was soo fulfilling. People are going to think what they're going to think, you just have to proove them wrong. I know a lot of cheerleaders in my school who are actually emos...its just that they want to be there for their team and school.
