I think that you guys have been very responsible and found the best option for you- that's the good part The bad part is it obviously will be hard. I'm as pro-choice as anybody can be, but I realize that you are having a hard time with this. Find a non-biased counselor to help you and your boyfriend out with this. Make SURE they are pro-choice and aren't going to put you down for the difficult decision you have to make. You have your decision, now you need some help to work through it so that you can move on and feel as good about it as possible.
I know the pictures can be difficult to see. When it comes down to it, the fetus feels no pain. No, the pictures aren't pretty (and most of the time they are really not an accurate representation of what it's really like- a lot of it is really just junk put up there by people who want to prevent people from having an abortion at all cost). No medical procedure looks great- open heart surgery looks plain wrong but in the right places done safely it is a good thing.
